Mobility Maturity Model
Any organization that seeks to make enterprise mobility a core asset of its employee offering must deal with the challenge of how to achieve a practical balance between productivity, mobility and security.
How can organizations today put in place an enterprise mobility strategy that is reliable and secure, and which also delivers the productivity benefits for their employees that remote mobile access enables? In addition, how do they begin building an effective mobility strategy: and can they incorporate their existing mobility assets (if they have any) into this strategy?
To help answer these questions, Synchronoss Enterprise has commissioned a survey into 500+ US and UK enterprises that identifies the key features that define an organization’s “mobility maturity”, ie: its level of enterprise mobility adoption and the benefits and advantages it enjoys as a consequence.
To frame these findings, Synchronoss Enterprise has devised a “Mobility Maturity Model” consisting of four categories – Productivity, Contextuality (use of mobility data) and Security – split into eight separate stages.
