No one doubts the fundamental role that network service providers play in each of our lives. Never was this more evident than during the past year when a global pandemic profoundly changed how the world interacted. I am personally grateful that network service providers are allowing us to work remotely, giving my children the ability to continue their education from home, and helping my family and friends both near and far remain connected to each other.

Of course, none of this would have happened without a massive amount of behind-the-scenes technology, from network planning and resource and inventory management to ordering and invoicing. These are just a few of the many, many systems and processes required to keep people, networks and content seamlessly in sync in a way that is also efficient and profitable.

Introducing networkX

At Synchronoss, we take the “in sync” principle to heart when it comes to making networks work – “sync” is part of our name, after all. In case you missed it, last month we unveiled a new Synchronoss Experience: syncX. (You can check out the blog post from Jeff Miller, our CEO, here.) syncX is a collection of products that help our customers give their subscribers a better, more engaging and connected experience.

One of the three product pillars of syncX is a set of tools designed to give service providers the ability to simplify network complexity. In a world where subscribers expect seamless connectivity and zero network interruptions, delivering superior network quality can be complex and costly. We have a way to help. We call it networkX.

Remember how I said that nothing works if behind-the-scenes technology doesn’t work? Well, networkX brings a set of products all together under a single flag to streamline network planning, ordering and expense management.

networkX comprises the following products:

spatialSUITE delivers end-to-end physical network asset planning, design, and management in a single solution, from cataloging the types and locations of equipment to showing how that equipment is connected and being utilized within the network.
interconnectNOW (iNOW) is a platform for off-network ordering that streamlines the service order lifecycle to reduce order errors, create automation across suppliers and improve service readiness.
Financial Analytics is a workflow-driven expense management application suite that spans procurement to payment and helps reduce vendor and operational costs, mitigate risks, enforce financial compliance and controls, and increase operational efficiencies.

We’re talking about a set of products that not only play well together but also are able to stand on their own independently. And watch this space for more news in the coming months. It won’t be too long before we’ll add some product enhancements that help network service providers accelerate revenue, increase speed to market, and reduce cost and risk. We’re talking Total Network Management for the network service provider. It’s a beautiful thing.
