Sometimes, however, forces come together that require a higher level of introspection. This is what has ocurred over the last year. Not only did Synchronoss confront a global pandemic that prompted us – like so many other businesses across the world – to think more deeply about what our company does, but we experienced changes in leadership and a renewed commitment to a more focused strategy, helping us recognize the customers we serve and truly understand why it matters.
What we found is something that we knew all along but had not been clear in telling the world: the “sync” in Synchronoss is much more than four letters. The reality is that “sync” embodies how we think about products, customers and subscribers – it’s the way we think about the world. In an ecosystem characterized by disparate technologies and processes, the need for a synchronized, collaborative and connected approach that transcends the network and the subscriber experience is more important than ever. What makes our company name more relevant than ever is our ability to deliver a portfolio of fully synched products that empower our customers to connect with subscribers in trusted and meaningful ways.
Our next step was to reexamine our already strong product portfolio, think more carefully about how they work together and reorganize them in a way that would help our customers accelerate revenue generation, increase speed to market, and reduce cost and risk.
